An underwater wedding is ideal for an adventurous couple or for those marrying for a second (or third) time who know the traditional routine only too well. It's also an unforgettable event.

The Hotel Caravelle on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands offers the Wet Wedding Package for US$1440 in the offseason. Rates are higher between Dec. 15 and April 15.

This is a 4-day/3-night package including accommodations, two dives, marriage services performed by Captain Ed Buckley, a candle light dinner at Hotel Caravelle's waterfront restaurant, his and hers T-Shirts, champagne and flowers in the guest room and a choice of a Buck Island or Safari land tour.

Also provided are consultation, ceremony and the filing of documents, all taxes and service charges. The marriage license (US$100) is additional.
