National Parks
in the British Virgin Islands


Overall, the British Virgin Islands has protected 28 locations by turning them into national parks.

The national parks include an impressive collection of land and marine areas containing historic sites, tropical forests, bird sanctuaries and The Rhone, one of the world's most famous shipwrecks.

While many of the sites are located on Tortola and Virgin Gorda and easily reached by car, others are on remote islands that require travel by boat.
