Documentation

a) Request a Notice of Intended Marriage form from the Bermuda Registrar General's Office (441-297-7709 or 441-297-7707) or click here to download the form. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to download the form in PDF format. If you do not have this free program, click here: Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®.

b) The form must be printed on white legal size (8.5" x 14") paper to be accepted.

c) Include a cashier's check or bank draft for US$210 plus US$20 for the certificate.

d) Mail form to:

Hamilton HM 12 Bermuda

e) The license will be valid for 3 months. It can be picked up at the Registrar's office by you or a designated person.

Wedding Customs

Moongates: Couples who kiss under one of these wedding-band shaped archways are guaranteed good fortune and happiness.

His-and-her wedding cakes: A tiny cedar sapling placed on the bride's cake is a wish for the couple's love to grow and mature.
